Wyclef For President

Wyclef Jean announced earlier this week that he is running for President of Haiti. My country. Yes i am Haiti and loving it. So it's only natural that i write about this subject. I as well as Sean Penn have some concerns about this leap. I personally think that Wyclef is not qualified to be president. He doesn't have any governmental knowledge. And he doesn't meet the requirement of having live in Haiti for 5 consecutive years. Also the fact that he owes the IRS. If he cant handle his own finances how will he mange a whole country. Not to mention that he was accused of pocketing 4 million from his charity for Haiti so i just don't know. Sean Penn thinks that he may have ulterior motives or maybe that the people that are funding him have something to hide. But i wouldn't go as far as to say that. But lets see how it goes. Yele Haiti

Obama urges Congress to 'pass this jobs bill' in radio address

President Obama's jobs bill was the focus of his weekly radio address Saturday, and he used real-life examples of struggling Americans and urged, as he has for three weeks, "Pass this jobs bill.

"Obama unveiled the American Jobs Act before a joint session of Congress on Sept. 8, but it has garnered little public support on Capitol Hill. Even some leading Democrats are pessimistic about its current prospects.

On Saturday, the president reiterated that some Republican members of Congress have said they agree with parts of the bill and said it's time for them to tell him what their proposals are. "And if they're opposed to this jobs bill, I'd like to know what exactly they're against," he continued. "Are they against putting teachers and police officers and firefighters back on the job? Are they against hiring construction workers to rebuild our roads and bridges and schools? Are they against giving tax cuts to virtually every American worker and small business in America?"Obama singled out people including Kim Faber, who, with her husband, owns a carpet business in New Jersey. "We hang in by a shoestring," she wrote him, saying her husband worried about the prospects of bounced checks and uses a home loan to ensure they are covered.She added: "It breaks my husband's heart when he has to let people go. Pass the bill!"

In a Republican response, a first-term House member from Virginia, Morgan Griffith, renewed theGOP's call to ease government regulations and said they had become "full-blown barriers to job creation."

"Of course, we all recognize the need for reasonable regulations to protect the public," he said. "There are good regulations, for instance, that ensure public safety and protect our environment. But there are also unnecessary and unreasonable regulations that hurt jobs in some of our nation's most critical industries."Griffith, who represents the southwestern corner of Virginia, said House Republicans next week will take up rules affecting cement makers and boilers. With respect to boilers, he said a Dallas-based chemical manufacturer, Celanese, may scale back or close a plant employing hundreds in his district if the boiler regulations advanced.

IS SELENA GOMEZ PREGNANT WITH JUSTIN BIEBER’S BABY?

After Selena Gomez checked into a hospital with nausea and dizziness following ‘The Tonight Show’ last month, the web went wild with a whirlwind of rumors that she might be pregnant with Justin Bieber‘s baby. While we think that is probably (hopefully) not the case, the Biebs has been schooled on safe sex repeatedly to ensure accidents don’t happen.

“Justin’s been told straight up that if he’s having sex, he had better use protection,” an insider reports to Star magazine. “Everyone knows their intentions are good, but they also know how easy it is to get worked up when you’re young and in love. It would only take a few moments of weakness to cause what could be a lifetime of regret.”

It’s true that Selena and Bieber have been spotted hand-in-hand all around the country together — and evenwrapped up in one another in Hawaii — but we bet their mamas have taught them how to handle sticky situations.

Selena tried to nip speculation in the bud from the get-go by telling reporters that her hospital stay was a result ofmalnourishment and exhaustion. Still, Beliebers and Gome-ites can’t help but wonder what happens between the couple behind closed doors.

Just before Selena entered the hospital on June 9, she and her beau were seen in Canada, visiting Justin’s family. Since then, they’ve been seen and heard in public sharing some very audible ‘I love you’s,’ which has some fans worried that they might be moving a bit too fast.

We think that at 17 and nearly 19-years-old, the young idols are old enough to make their own decisions. Still, that doesn’t make the idea of a mini-Bieber any more comforting. Stay safe out there, kids!

My baby steps into the world of fashion

OK so...all my life I've been trying to figure myself out and what i want to be when i grow up. lawyer pass, enginer please, doctor who am i kidding. these convensional jobs just never worked for me. but i always knew i loved to write, but i just didn't know about what to write about. so you can imaging it took me a couple try's.
but then it came to me when i was watching a t.v. show talking about fashion blogs. then i just knew it. it's like a light bulb went off in my head. i know so cliche right but yeah. so I've decide to see if i can hack it. i think because i have such a love for both this could really be my calling. beside the fact that i am a horrible speller.
and to add to the mix i live in a little area called Beaufort. try pointing that out on map. i mean its a awesome place to raise kids and start a family. but OMG this place doesn't even have a mall. and can you say slow on fashion. guys here are still busing sags down to their knees here. so i have move to over come. you don't really get a sense of raw street fashion or anything. uniforms doesn't help either. so i guess its time for me to get social and get on my grid. have faith guys
